LINE ART AND PAINTING – A COMBINATION OF MORDERN AND MYTHS

What’s more aesthetic to be in a room than artwork or painting which shows a story of its own. Minimalistic and simple work especially for those who love to interpret the work in their way and see the potential it carries.

Our bestselling work is from Krishna Prakash Vasant Martands work collection where he shows a perfect mix of ink and paper and shows his variant of the Mysore style of painting. Most of his work is influenced by Indian mythology. He portraits gods and goddesses wearing heavy ornaments which are drawn using a waterproof micro pen making it an amazing collection for your house and office walls.

While Mysore style uses thick lines Krishna Prasad Vasant combines his work with the modern art style and makes the line thin and retells the story and myths we have heard. This style can be seen Shri Shivu Ji God, the painting show god shiv holding his trisula wearing jewel on his neck and their hair open. The painting shows a lyrical and lifelike representation of the mythmaking where your eyes follow every line as you look at the painting.

The impressive work done in the painting might look confusing at first but when you read between the lines you understand it way more than a depiction of the work but a narrative that the painter felt when he was drawing or even when he first listened to the myths. The dark background gives an amazing contrast to the white and blue foreground enhancing the symmetry of the work.

Even his modern touch of his work is seen in many of his paintings and leaves an impression on your mind. His work the world tree of life connection is a great example of it.

Check out his whole collection at our online store Shop Chapual where it feels like a private showing of his work
